The space is in our family home, which is at a 10-15 minute walk from Thamel in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room receives ample sunlight throughout the day, keeping the room warm, cosy and bright and it has a cool and calm aesthetic to it with tones of blue and grey. Despite being right in the city, you will, without a doubt, be far from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city. Swayambhunath, the Monkey temple is at a 25-30 minutes walking distance from our place. Safe neighborhood, sparkling clean rooms at a friendly and enthusiastic local's home ! Meanwhile, the best restaurants would be within a 10-15 walk distance. A local grocery store is accessible within a minute’s walk. Guest access Rooms on the ground and first floor are not accessible. Feel free to enjoy the view from the balcony on the third floor or go up even higher to the roof. We’re just a text away ! We have 3 cats, Baby, Nomi and Yumi, who mostly just keeps to the ground floor and the garden. We also have a dog Jenny. She is a german shepherd and is a very friendly dog. Only once in a while we leave her open as we need to be mindful because our cats are scared of. We kindly request you to be respectful as this is a family home shared by my parents, sibling and I Also, please be conscious when using electricity and water.
