My house is around 40 minutes drive by taxi from the airport.This is the easiest and safe way to reach my place. He may charge you nrs 1000-1200 nrs.Before getting in a taxi let me talk to the driver from his mobile in order to explain him the address. If he can bring you to Shovabhagawati temple.I can come there to recieve you. My home is just 4 minute walk from there. From my home it takes around 10 minutes by taxi to reach Thamel(touristic place).By foot it takes 20minutes. Also you can many ways of transportation like as local buses, mini van, tuk tuk to visit different heritage sites like as kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhha Nath, Pashupatinath, shopping centers. Even you can walk to these places if you are interested.As this touristic heritage sites charge extra entrace fees, I can explain you how to sneak in through free entrances.
