About this experience
We will take a local taxi from Havana to Bacuranao beach about 14 km eastbound, 15 minutes ride). There we will talk about security measures for the activity, distribute the equipment required, warm up a few minutes and jump into the sea.
We will swim about 300 meters (over 1000 feets) to reach the coral reef and admire the beauty of the seabed and local coral life. We will also follow the trace of ancient shipwrecks in the area. It won't be necessary to do any immersions as everything can be seen from the surface.
Throughout the tour we will collect plastic waste from the reef to maintain a clean environment.
We will remain in the water between one and two hours.
Back in the beach, we will enjoy a tropical sandy beach and a local non-alcoholic drink for free. At the end we get a local taxi back to Havana.
Other things to note
This experience depends on the local weather conditions.
A locker service to leave our personal belongings is included.

Location
Bacuranao Beach, 14 km east of Havana. There is a coral reef on both sides of the beach where the local fish life is absolutely rich and colorful. We can also find many traces of ancient shipwrecks around.Things to know
